Who runs the place
Nobody gets paid to run the Southington Drive-In. A different local nonprofit takes each Saturday, works the gate and the stand, and keeps what the night makes. These are the groups who have done it.
Across 14 sourced seasons the lot has run 170 hosted nights, split between 18 organizations. Every one of them is a Southington group. If you have ever paid at that gate, this is where the money went.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 72 is the Southington unit of the American Legion Auxiliary, attached to American Legion Kiltonic Post 72 on Main Street. Membership is open to eligible relatives of Legion members.

Bread for Life is a community supported organization in Southington that feeds people facing food insecurity and builds connection while doing it. It runs a hunger relief kitchen serving weekday lunches, a food pantry, homebound meal delivery, and senior and youth feeding programmes.

Every website and social account on these pages was opened and read before it was published, and each one had to identify itself as that organization in Southington. A search result that merely looked right was not enough, which is how a Bread for Life in Cameroon, a lapsed foundation domain now selling coupons, and a fire department in Southington, Ohio all stayed off the site.
2 organizations have no link at all, because none could be confirmed. Those pages say so rather than pointing you at a guess. If you know where one of them lives online, let us know.
